Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript to the Journal of Advanced Ayurveda Research & Innovation (JARI), authors are requested to carefully review the following checklist.

Submissions that do not comply with these requirements may be returned for correction prior to peer review.

Mandatory Submission Documents

  • Cover Letter
  • Title Page
  • Blinded Manuscript File (without author names or affiliations)
  • Ethics approval (where applicable)
  • Confirmation of informed consent for publication, where applicable; supporting documentation must be retained by the authors and provided upon editorial request

Title Page containing:

  • Full manuscript title
  • Author names
  • Author affiliations
  • ORCID IDs (if available)
  • Corresponding author details
  • Email address
  • All authors have approved the manuscript, declarations, authorship information and applicable JARI publishing terms

Manuscript Preparation

Please ensure that:

  • The manuscript falls within the aims and scope of JARI
  • The manuscript has not been published previously
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal
  • The manuscript is written in clear academic English
  • All references have been properly cited
  • Tables and figures are appropriately numbered and referenced in the text
  • Abbreviations are defined upon first use
  • Statistical methods are clearly described where applicable
  • All sources of funding are disclosed
  • Conflicts of interest are disclosed

Blinded Manuscript Requirements

The blinded manuscript must NOT contain:

  • Author names
  • Institutional affiliations
  • Email addresses
  • Acknowledgements
  • Funding information identifying authors
  • Self-identifying statements
  • Metadata that reveals author identity

Authors are responsible for ensuring complete anonymization of the manuscript before submission.

Ethical Compliance

Where applicable, authors must confirm:

  • Institutional Ethics Committee approval was obtained
  • Human participant research complied with ethical standards
  • Animal studies complied with applicable ethical regulations
  • Informed consent was obtained from participants
  • Patient confidentiality has been protected
  • Clinical Trial Registration: Prospective clinical trials must be registered in a publicly accessible clinical trial registry recognised by the WHO International Clinical Trials Registry Platform (WHO ICTRP), such as the Clinical Trials Registry–India (CTRI), ClinicalTrials.gov, or another appropriate recognised registry. Registration should occur before enrolment of the first participant. The trial registration number must be included in the manuscript.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) Usage Disclosure

If Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools were used during manuscript preparation, authors must disclose:

  • Name of AI tool(s) used
  • Purpose of use
  • Extent of AI assistance

Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity and scientific validity of all submitted content.

AI tools cannot be listed as authors.

Plagiarism Compliance

Authors confirm that:

  • The manuscript is original work
  • All sources have been properly cited
  • No form of plagiarism, duplicate publication or data fabrication exists
  • Similarity levels comply with JARI publication policies

JARI reserves the right to screen all submissions using plagiarism detection software.

Author Declarations

The corresponding author confirms that:

  • All listed authors have contributed substantially to the work
  • All authors approve the submitted version
  • All authors agree to publication if accepted
  • No undisclosed conflicts of interest exist
  • All information provided is accurate and complete

Final Verification

Before clicking "Submit," please confirm:

  • All authors have approved the manuscript, declarations, authorship information and applicable JARI publishing terms
  • Conflict of interest disclosed
  • Funding disclosed
  • Trial registration provided where applicable
  • Data Availability Statement included where applicable

By submitting a manuscript to JARI, authors acknowledge that they have reviewed and complied with all journal requirements and publication policies.
