The Journal of Advanced Ayurveda Research & Innovation (JARI) operates as an open-access scholarly journal committed to the global dissemination of high-quality research and scientific knowledge.
To support editorial management, peer review administration, publication infrastructure, digital accessibility and long-term journal sustainability, an Article Processing Charge (APC) is applicable upon acceptance of a manuscript.
Important Notice
There are NO charges for manuscript submission.
Authors may submit manuscripts for editorial evaluation and peer review free of charge.
Article Processing Charges become applicable only after a manuscript has successfully completed peer review and receives final acceptance for publication.
Submission of a manuscript does not guarantee acceptance.

Article Processing Charge:
- ₹1,500 INR per accepted manuscript
International Authors
Article Processing Charge:
- USD $35 per accepted manuscript
What the APC Covers
The APC contributes toward:
- Editorial processing and manuscript management
- Double-blind peer review administration
- Publication workflow management
- Copyediting and editorial quality control
- Website hosting and maintenance
- Digital publication and article accessibility
- Long-term content preservation and journal development
Payment Policy
APC payment is requested only after:
- Completion of peer review
- Editorial acceptance of the manuscript
- Communication of the final acceptance decision
Authors should not make any payment prior to receiving official acceptance from the Editorial Office.
Refund Policy
As editorial and peer review resources are utilized during manuscript processing, APC payments are generally non-refundable once publication procedures have commenced.
Founding Author Initiative
To support the successful launch of the journal and encourage early scholarly participation, the Editorial Office may grant APC waivers or discounts for selected manuscripts at its discretion.
Eligibility for waivers, discounts or special publication initiatives shall be determined by the Editorial Office and may vary by issue.
Waiver and Special Consideration Requests
Authors experiencing genuine financial hardship may contact the Editorial Office regarding possible APC assistance.
Requests for special consideration will be reviewed confidentially and independently of editorial decisions.
The ability to pay APC charges shall never influence editorial evaluation or publication decisions.
Editorial Independence
Payment of an APC does not guarantee acceptance.
Editorial decisions are based solely on:
- Scientific merit
- Originality
- Methodological quality
- Ethical compliance
- Relevance to the journal's scope
The peer review and editorial decision-making process remains completely independent of financial considerations.
